Chateau Lynch-Moussas 2013

Both the Lynch-Moussas and Lynch-Bages estates in Pauillac were owned in the 18^th century by the Lynch family, originally from Ireland. The property was then bought by the Casteja family in early 20^th century. Emile Casteja acquired the 57 hectared (141 acres) estate in 1970 -he bought his brothers out. Since 2001, Casteja's son, Philippe Casteja, has since been managing the notable left bank vineyard of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. Lynch-Moussas is a member of the Union des Grands Crus.
