Pretty, with open-knit raspberry and black cherry compote notes, lined with a modest hint of fruitcake. The silky finish has a graceful feel. Shows good purity, but remains a touch shy on depth in the end. Drink now through 2026. 6,665 cases made.

Beautiful dark-fruit and wet-stone aromas follow through to a medium body, integrated and polished tannins, and a fresh, fruity finish. Always a mineral undertone to this. Drink in 2019.

The 2014 La Pointe is soft, pliant and quite tasty, all of which make it an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next few years. Ripe red stone fruit, cedar, tobacco and dried flowers add lovely shades of nuance in this open-knit, inviting Pomerol.

Medium-bodied, elegant, fresh, soft-textured wine, with a sweet core of plum and cherry fruit, hints of thyme, espresso, flowers, and dark chocolate. This should be easy to drink young. The wine was made from a blend of 82% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Franc.

Deep purple-garnet, dense at the core, with a violet hue on the rim. The bouquet starts strict, showing a hint of grenadine and red cherries; on a second pass, delicate leather notes and Dominican tobacco. On the palate, ample, with good, clear, fresh fruit notes (staying in the red-berry spectrum); the tannins are slightly firm, bringing a fine, peppery character. Promising potential.

Deep garnet colored, the 2014 La Pointe needs a little swirling to release notes of warm plums, blackberry preserves, and fallen leaves with hints of crushed rocks and wild sage. Medium-bodied, the palate is youthful and refreshing, with a firm line of chewy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing with an herbal lift.

The tannin tightens up a little; you need to give this very well-balanced cru some time. Decant for two hours before serving.

The nose is superb. The wine has honest density, is fairly structured, with slightly gripping tannins supported by a somewhat surprising acidity, but the whole should come together during ageing. 82% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc. The groundwork carried out in recent years has helped limit the damage, and the château comes out with honors.

Medium garnet red. Intense, spicy bouquet. Lovely fruity intensity with freshness and berries such as blackberries, blueberries and raspberries. Hint of mint. Light, elegant attack. On the palate, the wine is compact, with fine grainy tannins in harmony with the structure. They reveal themselves slowly and support the whole nicely. Fruity, persistent finish. A wine that needs time.

The nose reveals notes of blueberry and violet, and more subtly of blackberry cream and strawberry, combined with small hints of licorice. The palate is fresh, harmonious, fleshy, fairly complex, rich, indulgent, and offers a lovely silky texture. On the palate, there are notes of fresh dark fruits (blueberry, blackberry) and fresh red fruits, along with light notes of black cherry and cherry. The tannins are fine and slightly granular. Good length.

Wine with well-ripened fruit, a soft, pleasant, fruity palate, with medium body and length.
