A vintage marked by a mild winter and a rainy spring, 2019 will nevertheless be remembered as a sunny year. This vintage highlights in the glass both the climatic contrasts of the year and the characteristics of the terroir. The harvests began on September 23 and ended on October 10, yielding superb grapes, endowed with fantastic richness.
Once the harvest had been carried out by hand and the grapes had been rigorously selected through manual and then optical sorting, the vinification was carried out in thermoregulated stainless steel vats. Some of the batches also went through malolactic fermentation in new oak barrels. The First Wine is aged in oak barrels, 35% of which are first use oak.
