A supple and harmonious Pomerol red wine
With an area of over 47 hectares, Chateau de Sales is a red wine from the Pomerol appellation. The blend consists of 71.5% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13.5% Cabernet Franc.
At tasting, the wine has a splendid crystalline, ruby color. On the nose, the cherry aromas reveal themselves as the wine aerates. On the palate, Chateau de Sales 2011 offers a lovely flexibility with harmony and roundness. Tannins mark the finish, but they will become less marked with aging. It is best to drink this wine from 2015.
