With over 47 acres of vines in the Pomerol appellation, Chateau de Sales produces quality wines that are respectful of their terroir. It is made from a blend of 82.5% Merlot, 12.5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
At tasting, the wine has a beautiful ruby color. The nose still has a little concentration and shows a great complexity due to its red fruit aromas and more spicy notes. On the palate, the Chateau de Sales 2010 is a balanced wine that has a lovely roundness and fleshiness with plenty of vinosity. The structure shows great flexibility without being aggressive. The length is interestingly long, which indicates a beautiful harvest. This magnificent vintage requires a little aging and will be ready to consume from 2020.
