Description
A fresh and juicy Pomerol red wine
With a blend of 76.5% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9.5% Cabernet Franc and produced in the Pomerol appellation, Chateau de Sales has a vineyard area of 47.5 hectares. The terroir is rich with sandy-gravel soils that have iron oxide in them.
The Chateau de Sales 2004 reveals a brilliant color. The nose reveals a lovely bouquet of red fruit, minerality and spice. On the palate, the wine is voluminous with a wonderful freshness. A classic vintage to drink now.
