A balanced red wine from Pomerol
Chateau de Sales is a producer located in the Pomerol appellation and whose vineyard covers 47.5 hectares. The 1998 vintage blend is 86% Merlot, 10.5% Cabernet Franc and 3.5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Chateau de Sales 1998 offers an intense and complex nose. On the palate, it is creamy, fleshy, fat and chewy. The wine is balanced with delicate tannins that round out over time. Best to consume now.
