The Château de Pibarnon rouge is a wine produced in the Bandol appellation. The vineyard is located at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level on mid-Triassic soils with a high limestone content. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 20 months. The château de Pibarnon rouge 2016 blends 90% Mourvèdre and 10% Grenache.
At tasting, the Château de Pibarnon rouge 2014 is a dense wine with spicy (licorice) and fruity aromas. It offers considerable length on the palate and is both energetic, dense and extremely fine. Consume now.
