Chateau Clarisse 2014: A dense and silky Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion
Red wine produced in the Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion appellation, Chateau Clarisse is a 15.5 hectare vineyard. The vines are, on average, 25-30 years old and planted on a plateau composed of clay-limestone and silty-clay soil. The grape varieties grown on the property are 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
Chateau Clarisse 2014 has an intense red color with beautiful reflections. The nose is dynamic and quite complex. Aromas of blackberries, brambles and exotic fruits (blood orange juice). Chateau Clarisse 2014 is ample, creamy and velvety in the mouth. The texture is delicate and completely envelops the mouth. There are also tasty empyreumatic scents (smoke, cigars). This silky wines are exceptionally dense.
