Chateau Calon-Segur 2014 is a Saint-Estephe wine of beautiful depth. The nose is rich, concentrated and aromatic with very fresh aromas, dominated by black fruits and notes of licorice. The entry into the mouth is precise and the wine develops beautifully on the mid-palate with rich tannins characterized by very silky edges. The wine has great density with a juicy and long finish. This vintage seems to have gained plenty from the terroir, resulting in a wine with great precision and a sophisticated tannic structure.
