Its creation starts with maturation in ex-bourbon casks made of American white oak, giving the distillate its first delicate notes of vanilla and honey. This Single Malt Whisky is then split into two equal parts to continue its journey. While the first half continues to develop in ex-bourbon casks, the second is carefully transferred into rare 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks. These precious casks, supplied exclusively by the Spanish bodega Gonzalez Byass, enrich this Highlands whisky with indulgent notes of dried fruit. Finally, in a final step, the two liquids are blended together in Sherry Butts, ensuring a perfect harmony of their aromas.
