Description

The Refreshign Expression of a Provence Rose from Chateau Sainte Roseline

A cuvee made from a blend of estate wines, the Roseline Prestige 2017 rose of Chateau Sainte Roseline, Classified Growth of 1955, is produced from a rigorous selection of the vintage’s best wines, displaying all the finesse and character of the vines of Provence.

At Chateau Sainte Roseline, special attention is paid to the vine in an approach that is respectful of the environment, preserving the richesse and diversity of the flora and fauna, which express all the characteristics of this unique terroir. After a constant monitoring of vine growth, which required green pruning to guarantee exposure of the grapes to sunshine, the fruit was harvested at night, between the end of August and the end of September, in order to preserve all the organoleptic properties of the grapes.

The Roseline Prestige 2017 rosé of Chateau Sainte Roseline is produced in the A.O. Cotes de Provence and presents a blend that combines the expressions of the southern grape varieties: Cinsault, Syrah and Grenache.

At the tasting, the Roseline Prestige 2017 rosé of Chateau Sainte Roseline presents a clear, limpid and brilliant pink color. The aromatic palette is very expressive, evolving on the palate fresh notes of red fruits, along with indulgent and slightly acidic notes of English candy. The palate seduces with its liveliness, expressing the freshness typical of Provence rosés, leaving a persistent and lengthy finish.
