Zorzal

Zorzal began producing wines in 2008 with a dedication to making wines of high quality. The winery and vineyards are located in Gualtallary, Argentina where the chalk streaked soil found at the foot of the Tupungato Volcano imparts minerality seldom found in the wines of Argentina. The wines of Zorzal retain a freshness due to Gualtallary being the highest altitude vine growing region in all of Mendoza. Winemaker brothers Juan Pablo and Matias Michelini take a "non-invasive" approach to winemaking, allowing the fruit and terroir to speak for itself without being masked by oak.
