Description
A powerful and subtle Côtes de Provence rosé
The estate
Domaine des Campaux is located in the heart of the Môle valley, a short distance from Saint-Tropez in Provence. Since 1934, this family estate has been in the hands of the Naveau family.
The vineyard
This 34-hectare Provence vineyard is south-facing and cultivated on shallow schist soils. The soil is grassed over in winter, worked superficially and stripped under the row. Since 2018, the Domaine des Campaux is committed to the environment by converting to Organic Agriculture.
The wine
OséRose 2022 from Domaine des Campaux is a Côtes de Provence wine developed from the oldest vines on the estate, the highest quality ones.
Winemaking and ageing
The harvest took place at night in order to preserve the freshness of the harvested grapes. The grapes were then taken to the winery to be pressed directly. The settled juice underwent fermentation at a low temperature. Racking preserves the fine lees which accompanied the wine throughout its ageing. The bottling of the Domaine des Campaux OséRose 2022 was carried out as the season progressed in order to guarantee its taste and freshness.
