A superb introduction to the signature style of Peyrassol, the AOP Cotes de Provence Cuvee de la Commanderie Rose 2018 seduces right away with its intensely fruity expression and light airiness.
A blend of Cinsault (45%), Grenache (29%), Syrah (15%), Rolle (6%), Mourvèdre (5%), Cabernet and Carignan, the Cuvee de la Commanderie 2018 from Peyrassol reveals the true character of these Provence grape varieties, grown in clay-limestone soils with a high proportion of gravel. The vines are managed by means of sustainable agriculture and the harvest is carried out during the night in order to preserve the freshness of the fruit.
Product of a vintage known for its harmony, finesse and balance, the Cuvee de la Commanderie Rosé 2018 Peyrassol presents an intensely fruity aromatic expression. The delicious notes of red berries are followed by more acidulous notes, evoking currant and citrus fruits. A certain candy fragrance further enhances the nose. The palate is quite tender, offering up a fruity and lively texture, developing upon a great lightness. A great Provence rosé ideal for summer meals, aperitifs to grilled meats.
