Description

A flavorful and full-bodied Pauillac wine

The estate
5th Grand Cru Classé of Pauillac, the Château Pédesclaux was founded under the impetus of Urbain-Pierre Pédesclaux, a wine broker, at the beginning of the 19th century. Arriving at the head of the estate in 2009, the Lorenzetti family has raised the cru to the highest level by equipping it with state-of-the-art facilities. 2014 notably marks the construction of a new gravity-fed cellar signed by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. In 2018, Manon Lorenzetti took over the reins of the estate, infusing a dynamic energy into the property.

The vineyard
The vineyard of Château Pédesclaux extends over 50 hectares of vines spread over 19 different terroirs in the heart of the AOC Pauillac. The vineyard is thus managed by Vincent Bache-Gabrielsen, advised by the oenologist Éric Boissenot.

Blend

52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot.
