Château Malescot St Exupéry 2016 : an opulent Margaux
A 3rd Classified Growth of 1855, Château Malescot St Exupéry is produced in the Margaux appellation. Aged 45 years on average, the vineyard of 28 hectares is planted on soils made up of Pyrenean gravel. The harvest of the 2016 vintage took place from between the 1st and the 25th of October. The aging of the wine is carried out in barrels (of which 70% are new barrels), over a period of 13 to 15 months. Château Malescot St Exupéry 2016 blends 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot.
The Château Malescot St Exupéry 2016 displays a dark and intense red color. It reveals on the nose aromas of ripe and fresh fruit. The wine is balanced and concentrated, offering a supple tannic structure. The Château Malescot St Exupéry 2016 is very opulent.
