This cuvee enjoyed fresh temperatures at night and exceptional sunshine in august, which allowed the perfect ripeness of the grapes. The 2014 Chateau Malartic-Lagravière produced an aromatically precise, full-bodied and nervous Pessac-Leognan. This wine is 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Semillon. This Cru Classé frankly expresses more exotic than citrusy fragrances (surprising fact considering the proportion of Sauvignon, which perfectly ripened and developed less conventional fragrances) mixed with woody hints that will fade at the end of the ageing process. The palate offers volume, well-proportioned thickness and accurate acidity. The wine carries serious balance and pleasant fruit on the palate.
