The 2009 Chateau Lynch-Bages displays a deep color. The nose exudes distinctive characters of a sunny vintage year and excellent grape maturity: cassis and black fruits. The palate offers a smooth, forward attack. The tannins are remarkably fleshy yet delicate. This Pauillac is rich and round, powerful, with lovely balance. The finish is incredibly long. This superbly masterfully crafted Chateau Lynch-Bages carries infallible aging potential.
