Description

A smooth and complex Saint-Estèphe wine

The estate

Owned by Vignobles Dourthe, Château Le Boscq is a property located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation, on Bordeaux’s Left Bank. Château Le Boscq has been promoted to Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel since the new classification of Cru Bourgeois 2020.

The vineyard

Château Le Boscq 2022 is a Saint-Estèphe wine from an 18-hectare vineyard, certified Terra Vitis and since 2018 HVE (High Environmental Value) level 3, resting on superb Garonne and clay hilltops.

The vineyard is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.

The wine

2022 is the first vintage that Maison Dourthe has been the owner of Château Le Boscq, having been a tenant for 27 years.
