A round and fine red wine from Saint-Estephe
The Chateau Le Boscq is a Cru Bourgeois (a top-ranked wine) from the Saint-Estephe appellation. The vineyard in production covers 16 hectares. The blend is 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc.
The nose of Chateau Le Boscq 2000 shows a great complexity and delicacy. You can smell precious wood fragrances, cedar and cigar box. The attack is firm with a structure that offers roundness and finesse. The wine is elegant and has melted tannins. An excellent wine.
