A red Pomerol wine with dense aromas
Chateau La Croix du Casse is located in the south of Pomerol. The dominant grape is Merlot and the terroir is mostly composed of gravel and sand.
The Chateau La Croix du Casse 2005 is a wine with a beautiful ruby color with purple hues. On the nose, ther are dark fruit aromas like blackberry and black cherry, as well as licorice and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is quite bold and tannins are present. Consume up until 2020.
