Description
The 2014 Conseillante displays an inky purple-tinted dense red colour. The nose is subtle on very fresh Burlat cherry, smashed blackberry and pine forest aromas, conferring this Pomerol of Chateau La Conseillante an unexpected southern character. The attack is smooth, nervous and gradually gives way to blended, juicy and creamy tannins with elegant grain on the mid-palate. In retro-olfaction, black fruit aromas echo the nose's aromatic palette. This balanced wine from Pomerol is brilliant.
