After a complicated start, due to a rainy weather, the summer sun finally appeared. At Chateau Cantenac-Brown, the beautiful late-season brought warm days and cool nights, helping the fruit achieve perfect phenolic maturity and a nice aromatic concentration. The small berries with thick skin were full of anthocyanins, ideal for the production of deep-colored wines with tannins that show great freshness, roundness and length on the palate.
2018 also rewarded the hard work and know-how of the technical teams at Chateau Cantenac-Brown, an estate located on the left bank of the Bordeaux region. Throughout the year, the teams paid constant attention to the vineyard, making a great effort to bring it to its best.
