Description
A fresh and balanced Saint-Emilion wine
The estate
Chateau Bellefont-Belcier was acquired in 1889 by the Faure family who, through their innovation and hard work, turned this estate into one of the jewels of the Bordeaux region. In 1994, it became the property of BJL & Partenaires, giving a new lease of life to this Grand Cru Classe, whose facilities were modernized. Chateau Bellefont-Belcier has passed through several hands in recent years before joining the Vignobles K of Hong Kong's Peter Kwok in 2017.
The vineyard
Chateau Bellefont-Belcier 2021 is a Saint-Emilion wine made from a vineyard of around 20 hectares in total and is planted on a clay-limestone slope and molasse de Fronsadais soils.
