Description
A Grand Vin from Sauternes, the Symphonie de Haut-Peyraguey is produced by the magnificent First Classified Growth of 1855 Clos Haut-Peyraguey. The Clos Haut-Peyraguey estate enjoys an exceptional location, with its 21-hectare vineyard planted on the highest point of the plateau of Bommes, south of Bordeaux.
Aged 35 years on average, the vines are planted in gravel-sandy soils, upon clayey subsoils, typical of Barsac and Sauternes.
The Symphonie de Haut-Peyraguey 2018 blends 97% Semillon with 3% Sauvignon Blanc. Just like its older brother, the Clos Haut-Peyraguey, the Symphonie de Haut-Peyraguey is considered one of the most important references of Sauternes.
