Description
The smallest of the Sauternes First Classified Growths, with a total area of 8.5 hectares of vines in one piece, Clos Haut-Peyraguey resides over an exceptional vineyard.
The property situated opposite Chateau d’Yquem enjoys an ideal location, with vineyards planted at the top of the hill of Bommes, in gravelly-sandy soils upon clay subsoils.
Purchased by Bernard Magrez at the end of 2012, Clos Haut-Peyraguey is one of the greatest names in the Sauternes appellation, south of Bordeaux.
Clos Haut-Peyraguey 2018 includes a blend of Semillon (97%) and Sauvignon Blanc (3%).
