The vivacity and elegance of a Bordeaux rosé wine
The property
The origin of the name of the Domaine de La Solitude can be traced back to the rule of the Holy Family community: to pray in the silence of solitude. The community settled on the estate in the 19th century. The sisters decided to entrust the vineyard management to external operators. Since 1993, Olivier Bernard has been managing the estate. A very old property in Martillac, the Domaine de la Solitude stands out for the quality of its Pessac-Léognan wines, which offer very good value for money, are accessible in their youth and promise a beautiful evolution.
The vineyard
The vineyard of the Domaine de la Solitude extends over 36 hectares of gravelly soils on clay-gravel subsoils.
The wine
The Rosé de la Solitude has been produced under the Bordeaux wines appellation since the 2000s. This renowned rosé is made using the so-called "bleeding" method. Presented in a high-end, aesthetic bottle, this rosé has an original label that reflects its modernity and nobility.
Since the 2021 vintage, the bottles of this rosé wine are equipped with a VINTOP screw cap, infinitely recyclable and guaranteeing optimal preservation of aromas.
Blend
Cabernet sauvignon (50%)
Merlot (50%).
