Chateau Sainte-Marguerite was founded in 1929 by Andre Chevillon. The property was built on a vineyard dating back to Antiquity located in Londe Les Maures, a coastal village in the department of Var. Chateau Sainte-Marguerite wines were classified Cru Classe of Provence in recognition of their authenticity, diversity, and quality. In 1977, Brigitte and Jean-Pierre Fayard acquired the then 11-hectare estate, which covers 75 hectares today.
