A Provence Rosé with a beautiful light pink color and refreshing acidity

The Miraval rosé is produced in the appellation of Cotes de Provence. The grapes undergo a very thorough selection process, and are harvested from the best vineyards of the estate (Muriers, Longue, Romarin and vineyards of Correns), located on the most famous terroirs of the Provence wine region.

The vines of Chateau Miraval benefit from excellent sun exposure, as they are planted on terraces at an average altitude of 350 meters. The vines stretch their roots deep into clay-limestone soils. The climatic conditions here are characterized by great variations in temperature between day and night, which allows the fruit to reach ideal maturity and an aromatic equilibrium that is then perfectly transcribed in the wines.

The Miraval Rose 2018 comes from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah et Rolle (Vermentino), an authentic representation of the local terroir. In the glass, the Miraval rose 2018 shows off a beautiful light pink color. On the nose, this Provence rosé a faithful representation of the estate’s signature style: a beautiful mix of fresh fruit and floral fragrances. On the palate, the wine offers a balanced, complex and mineral mouthfeel, along with a persisitent finish. A Provence rosé that transmits sunshine in every sip, Miraval 2018 is the definition of elegance.

    Parker : 90 / 100
    Wine Advocate-Parker :
Bottled just a few weeks before my visit, Miraval's 2018 Cotes de Provence Rose was in fine form. A blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 10% Syrah and 10% Rolle, it boasts floral and melon aromas, while on the palate, it's medium-bodied, plump and fleshy, with a zesty, tangerine-tinged finish.
