The aging of the wine is carried out exclusively in new oak barrels for an average of 22 months.
Louis Cheze’s Anges 2014 has a beautiful ruby color that is clear and deep. The nose is very complex with notes of black fruits, sweet spices and hints of wood. In the mouth, it has a straight-forward attack with harmonious tannins. The finish is very long and persistent. Can age for 10-15 years.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
Coming from 50-year-old vines and granite soils, the 2014 Saint Joseph Anges offers a beautiful bouquet of ripe black raspberries, spiced meats and dried herbs. This gives way to a rounded, supple, impressively textured and concentrated red that has a terrific mid-palate and plenty of length. It's a rock-solid success in the vintage and will have a decade of longevity.
