Description
Showing off a unique identity, the La Dame de Montrose cuvee is produced with the same care and attention as the Grand Vin of Chateau Montrose, the prestigious Grand Cru Classe located on the Left Bank of Bordeaux.
First created in 1983, this wine pays homage to Yvonne Charmolue, who managed Chateau Montrose from 1944 to 1960.
La Dame de Montrose from Chateau Montrose offers a delicious expression of the Saint-Estephe terroir in a supple wine that is accessible even in its youth.
The La Dame de Montrose 2018 is made from a blend of Merlot (52%), Cabernet Sauvignon (39%), Cabernet Franc (4%) and Petit Verdot (5%). The result of a magnificent vintage, often compared to 2009 and 2016, the La Dame de Montrose 2018 will be counted within the greatest vintages of Chateau Montrose.
