The Purity and Grace of a Grand Cru from Saint-Estephe
The Second wine of the superb 2nd Grand Cru Classe Chateau Montrose, La Dame de Montrose is distinguished by its very own personality, offering a unique expression of the great terroir of Saint-Estephe.
La Dame de Montrose 2017 was made from the same vineyard as the Grand Vin, with a superb location on the Left Bank of Bordeaux, and was developed with the same attention and precision to detail. The vinifications were carried out in a way that respects the expression of each parcel contributing to the blend.
Dominated by Merlot (49%), the blend of La Dame de Montrose 2017 also has 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc.
Delicate and vibrant in its expression, the nose opens with freshly crushed raspberry and blackberry, polished with elegant floral notes. On the palate, the wine charms with its creamy texture and chiseled tannins, which coat the mouth. The palate remains precise and straightforward, stretching into a fresh and refined finish. A Dame de Montrose full of grace and elegance.

Composed of 49% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot, the 2017 La Dame de Montrose is deep garnet-purple colored with a very fragrant nose of violets, lavender and dark chocolate over a core of cassis, Provence herbs and smoked meats. The palate is medium-bodied and very refreshing with ripe, very soft tannins, elegant and refined with a perfumed finish.
