The estate
Domaine Mont Bessay is an iconic figure in the Moulin-à-Vent region, renowned for its commitment to quality and the authentic expression of its terroir. Founded in the early 20th century, the estate has been passed down through the generations, each bringing their expertise and passion for wine. The founding of Domaine Mont Bessay is the result of a 5-year collaboration between Philippe Pascal and Guillaume Marko, who also manage the biodynamic estate of Cellier aux Moines in Givry.
The vineyard
"En Bessay" is a Juliénas wine from vineyards planted at an altitude of 450 meters, on slopes predominantly facing south. This terroir rests on soils composed of pink granite and sandstone, giving the wine complexity and structure.
