The Typicity of a Wine from Haut-Medoc

Grand Vin of the estate, the Chateau Senejac 2018 reveals a pure expression of the Haut-Medoc terroir.

Situated in a lush green environment, the Chateau Senejac vineyard is located on the left bank of the Bordeaux region, in the commune of Le Pian-Medoc. Its 41 hectares of vines are planted on deep gravel soils.

Produced with the utmost respect for both the fruit and its terroir of origin, the Chateau Senejac 2018 is made from a blend of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. This vintage is aged for 15 months in barrels, of which 30% is new oak.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2018 Senejac is deep garnet-purple colored with a nose of warm berries, earth, herbs and tobacco plus floral notions. The palate is full-bodied and rich with fine-grained tannins, nice freshness and good length.
