The estate

Both driven by the vision of the vine as a living entity, Hélène Garcin and Patrick Levêque also share a life project: to nurture exceptional terroirs through attentive, meticulous, and above all passionate work. Thus, when they set foot on the lands of Château Poesia, the evidence is clear. From then on, they set out to produce great wines from Saint-Émilion vinified in respect of nature.

The vineyard

Château Poesia 2020 comes from a great terroir perched on the heights of Saint-Émilion. There, the clay and limestone plateau on which the vines root enjoys ideal exposure to the wind, which gives Merlot superb aromatic complexity. The climate is oceanic, ensuring a good water supply to the vines.

Winemaking and aging

After the manual harvest, the berries go down to the cellar to begin a precise winemaking process. The grapes ferment in stainless steel and concrete vats. Then, the wine is aged for 18 to 24 months in French oak barrels.

Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
