Graves Classified Growth, produced in the Pessac-Leognan appellation, Chateau Malartic-Lagraviere white is produced on a 7 hectare vineyard. The vines are planted on soil composed on dry gravel and clay-gravel. The wines are aged for 11 months on its lees in oak barrels, with a proportion of 50% new barrels. 2009 is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon.
Chateau Malartic-Lagraviere white 2009 reveals an extremely rich bouquet of aromas: citrus fruits, exotic fruits (mangoes and pineapples), and delicate smoky notes. Mellow and full in the mouth, the wine is textured and rich, showing a structure that perfectly combines complexity and elegance.
