2015 Haut-Medoc from Bordeaux.
Located on the Cissac Médoc municipality, Chateau Larrivaux is from the Haut-Medoc appellation, at the boundery of the prestigious Saint-Estèphe appellation. The 2015 cuvee was made from a 19 hectare vineyard and is a blend of 41% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot.
On the nose, the 2015 Chateau Larrivaux offers good roundness and an impressive depth on fruits such as vanilla, blackberry and raspberry notes. This Haut-Medoc is medium-bodied on the palate and carries thick tannins where white pepper notes and a hint of spices develop.
