Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2007

Bordeaux - Pauillac - Red Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2007 1044/07
  • Parker : 91
  • J. Robinson : 16,5

The 2007 Grand-Puy-Lacoste presents a purple red colour. Generous, yet simple, the nose exudes mixed notes of cassis, cherry, and blackberry, with added spices -pepper, vanilla, anise- and discreet hints of lovely toasted aromas.  The palate is flavoured with smooth fine-grained tannins that lead to a pleasant, persistent finish. The 2007 Grand-Puy-Lacoste should drink well now, or in a few more years.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
Tasted at BI Wine & Spirits' 10-Years-On tasting, the 2007 Grand-Puy-Lacoste has a straight-down-the-line, no frills, pencil lead-infused, black-fruited bouquet with wonderful definition and commendable intensity for the vintage. The palate is medium-bodied with a surprisingly lithe and sensual opening, more red fruit than other vintages of Grand Puy Lacoste with satisfying precision and mineralité on the finish. This is excellent. Tasted February 2017.;2018 - 2032
