Chateau de Myrat reigns over a 22-hectare vineyard located in the Haut-Barsac territory, a clay-limestone plateau on cracked limestone.
Vinification and aging
The grapes were harvested manually, by successive sorting. Fermentation was carried out in barrels, as was the aging (40% new oak barrels) for 18 months.
Food & Wine Pairing
The Chateau de Myrat 2020 is an ideal pairing with various dishes (spicy tapas, prawns, foie gras, curried chicken, braised veal chops), cheeses (Roquefort, Comté) and desserts (apple or pear tart, red fruit salad).
