The balance and refinement of a Sauternes wine
The property
Chateau de Myrat is a family property established in the Sauternes appellation. The wines of this Sauternes Grand Cru Classe seduce with their balance, elegance and refinement.
The vineyard
Chateau de Myrat reigns over a 22-hectare vineyard located in the Haut-Barsac territory, a clay-limestone plateau on cracked limestone.
Vinification and aging
The grapes were harvested manually, by successive sorting. Fermentation was carried out in barrels, as was the aging (40% new oak barrels) for 18 months.
The blend
The Chateau de Myrat 2020 was made from a blend of Semillon (96%), Sauvignon Blanc (2%) and Muscadelle (2%).
