Château Couhins 2024 white

Intense nose, showing depth and minerality, with lime, apple, grasses and white tea; balanced on the palate, marked acidity, delicate, crisp fruit, long citrusy finish, leaving a salty mouthfeel. A safe bet.

Bright and alive, this zings on the palate with crisp lemon and lime, bitter grapefruit and gorgeous freshly picked peaches. Hints of tropicality add sweetness—pineapple and mango—which add depth and layers to the expression. I really like this. Great energy and appeal.

Lemons, orange rind, and flowers form the core of the wine. Quite zesty and lively on the palate, the wine is packed with freshly squeezed lemon juice drizzled over green apples, with just a splash of spicy pineapple in the endnote. This should be ready to go on release. The wine blends 94% Sauvignon Blanc with 6% Sauvignon Gris. Drink from 2027-2034. 92-92 pts

Very lively, the bouquet is all freshness and energy, with aromas of lemon, bergamot, and delicate oak. The palate is just as tender, balanced by the rounded aromatic notes of citron peel and lemon thyme, leading to a saline finish.

Pineapple, citrus, this has some pretty grippy acidity overall, well structured, slim, elderflower and apple blossom aromatics, good quality. Harvest 5 to 23 September. 15% new oak. Dominique Forget director.

Pale yellow colour. Intense, refined, fruity nose. On the palate, a very sleek, slender profile, unfolding into a flavoursome, vibrant mid-palate and leading to a long, fragrant finish.
