Description
An attractive Saint-Estephe red wine
Chateau Capbern produces a wine in the Saint-Estephe appellation covering an area of 29 hectares. The blend is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc.
At tasting, this wine appears to be full of character. On the nose, there are black cherry and herbaceous aromas. The Chateau Capbern 2009 has a very good texture that reflects a traditional style. The originality of its terroir allows it to offer a wine with a lot of tannins but it remains very attractive due to its fine minerality. This wine can be consumed now or it has the potential to age for more than 10 years.
