Chateau Bernadotte is located on the Haut-Medoc appellation (situated West of the Pauillac appellation) and its vineyard, composed of 30 year old vines on average, stretches over 35 hectares. This 2011 Cru Bourgeois is 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot.
The wine reveals a supple and ample attack. The palate offers a lush fruit as well as much silk, followed by an important tannic richness. The 2011 Chateau Bernadotte has a good ageing potential.
