Description

The freshness and richness of an Haut-Médoc wine

The estate

Located in the Haut-Médoc appellation, this former 18th century hunting lodge has become one of the most beautiful wine estates in Bordeaux. Château Belgrave has belonged to Maison Dourthe since 1979.

The vineyard

Owned by CVBG since 1979, Château Belgrave is an Haut-Médoc wine from a 60-hectare single vineyard, 95% identical to the one classified in 1855. In the heart of the Médoc, these exceptional vines are planted on two deep gravel ridges with a clay and sandy-clay subsoil.

The grape varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
