The estate
Chateau Beauséjour has been famous from the very beginning of the Saint-Emilion classification. This Premier Grand Cru Classe, located on the right bank of Bordeaux, has been a family property since 1847, owned by the Duffau-Lagarosse family.
The vineyard
This 7-hectare gem is rooted on the hillside of Saint-Emilion. The 40-year-old vines are planted in a mosaic of terroirs, formed of clay-limestone soils on limestone. The vineyard is managed according to traditional methods and most often cultivated manually.
The harvest
Manual harvest of Merlot by successive sorting between September 24 and October 4. Harvest of Cabernet between October 4 and 7.
The blend
Merlot (86%), cabernet franc (14%).

Airy and precise, the Chateau Beausejour Heritiers Duffau-Lagarrosse 2019 presents a lace-like structure. Throughout its development on the palate, the lively acidity brings a great relief with beautiful bitter touches on the finish.
