Bienvenues-BĂątard-Montrachet covers an area of over 3 hectares and a half. The wines from the appellation Bienvenues-BĂątard-Montrachet come exclusively from the commune of Puligny-Montrachet. Bienvenues-BĂątard-Montrachet belongs to the five grands crus of the CĂŽte de Beaune (the others being BĂątard-Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, Criots-BĂątards-Montrachet and Montrachet). The vines planted in this appellation are located at between 240 and 250 meters of altitude and benefit from rather thick clay soils. In Bienvenues-BĂątard-Montrachet only white wines are produced. These Chardonnay wines are generally structured, harmonious and offer an extremely rich bouquet.
