The estate
Situated to the south of Bordeaux, Château d'Yquem is one of the finest references in the Sauternes appellation. This majestic Premier Cru Classé enjoys an exceptional terroir and produces sweet wines that are sought after throughout the world.
The vintage
In the Bordeaux region, the 2019 vintage was characterised by a rainy spring followed by a very hot summer. The 2019 Y de Yquem harvest began early on August 26th and ended on September 5th.
The blend
Sauvignon Blanc (75%), Semillon (25%).
