On the heights of the Rhône Valley, in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, stands the Domaine Yann Chave. In 1996, 26-year-old Yann Chave took over the reins of the family's one-hectare wine estate after studying economics and management. It was his passion for wine that brought him back to the family lands, where he makes wines that authentically represent their terroir.

Domaine Yann Chave is a pioneer in organic viticulture, having introduced it in the early 2000s. The estate obtained its certification in 2007.

Today, the Yann Chave estate covers 20 hectares of vineyards. The variety of terroirs on which Syrah is grown is a real strength for Domaine Yann Chave. Between the alluvial terraces of the Rhône, loess and the clay-limestone soils of the prestigious Hermitage hill, the Syrah vines benefit from a mosaic of exceptional terroirs.

Domaine Yann Chave wines are pure Hermitage. The cuvées, like the Cuvée Le Rouvre and the Cuvée Domaine, are shining, refined and fruity.
