A land that inspired the British playwright William Shakespeare in Romeo and Juliet, the Veneto region in northeastern Italy is also a marvellous wine-making region.

Nestled between Lake Garda to the east and the foothills of the Monti Lessini to the north, the Valpolicella area enjoys a mild to temperate climate. The Buglioni estate reigns over 54 hectares of vines that are planted with the iconic indigenous grape varieties, namely, Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara. Buglioni wines are aged for a longer period of time in oak barrels and handsomely repay their time spent in oak. The Buglionis are passionate and determined winemakers who are masters of the various vine training and pruning techniques. They believe in imbuing their wines with their burning love for viticulture and nature and they do so with great success!
