Minervois La Liviniere Wines : Key Points

The AOP Minervois-La-Livinière includes six communes located in the foothills of the Montagne Noire (Azillanet, Cesseras, Siran, La Livinière, Félines-Minervois and Azille).

The Mediterranean climate, dry and sunny, is moderated by cold from the Causses peaks, which favours an optimal and even development of the grapes.

The AOP Minervois-La-Livinière produces exclusively red wines, made from at least two traditional Languedoc grape varieties, namely Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah.

The grapes from vines planted in stony, steep areas with limestone soils are vinified with subsequent ageing of twelve to eighteen months, producing intense, structured wines with powerful tannins.
